Proposals should address at least one of three priority research areas: - **Dynamic Soil Properties & Soil Change:** Investigating long-term changes in soil properties, assessing forest soil properties, and developing digital soil mapping models. - **Methods of Soil Hydrology:** Developing or improving field and lab methods to measure soil hydraulic properties and enhancing communication of hydrologic data. - **Expansion of Datasets:** Integrating existing datasets with soil surveys, creating an online repository of projects and datasets, and improving compatibility between soil survey data and external databases.
All proposals must include a data management plan ensuring public access to generated data per USDA regulations.
